US drones overfly Waziristan regionsMIRANSHAH: The local tribesmen opened firing at US pilotless drones on Saturday when they resumed their almost routine flights in various parts of North and South Waziristan tribal regions.
The US spy planes are continuously violating Pakistani airspace despite recent assurances by the American top officials to respect the sovereignty of Pakistan.
The US drones flown over Ghulam Khan, Syedgyi, Alora Mandi, Bamzoi, Chiton, Darpa Khel, Miranshah and Mir Ali areas of North Waziristan and Makeen, Azim Warsik, Angoor Adda areas of South Wazirstan tribal agency.
