Quake jolts northern Pakistan
PESHAWAR: Islamabad, Peshawar, Abbotabad, Mansehra, Haripur and adjoining areas jolted by a medium intensity tremor Saturday morning at 8:55 am.
According to the seismological centre in Peshawar, the quake was measured 5.4 intensity at the Richter scale. The epicenter of the quake was in Tajikistan, 440 kilometers away from Peshawar, the officials said.
