OGRA reduces petrol by Rs5/lit
ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Monday announced to reduce the price of petrol by Rs 5 a litre following a global decline in oil prices, these prices will remain applicable for next fifteen days.
However, OGRA raised the prices of diesel and kerosene oil by Rs3.5/lit because the government is already subsidising diesel and kerosene oil.
According to a news report, the decision to reduce oil prices was made in a meeting of the federal cabinet with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani presiding over.
