Judges restored after allies not respond package: Khosa
KARACHI (Faizullah Khan): The government started the process of restoration of the deposed judges when it didn’t receive the response of coalition partners over the constitutional package, Pakistan's top state lawyer here said. Talking to media after attending a meeting of the Federal Review Board for withdrawal of cases under the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), Attorney General of Pakistan Latif Khosa said that any judge whose seniority has been affected during the restoration can take the issue to the court. The Attorney General said he was unaware about orders to the deposed chief justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry to get vacate his official residence.
