IRSA releases 184,473 cusecs water from reservoirs

ISLAMABAD: Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Saturday discharged 184,473 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to IRSA, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs recorded on Saturday was 112,917 cusecs. Water level at Tarbela Dam recorded 1527.23 feet. The present water level at the dam was 158.23 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 59,300 cusecs while outflow was at 120,000 cusecs. The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1197.20 feet which was 157.20 feet higher than the dead level of 1040 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 18,144 cusecs while outflow was recorded at 29,000 cusecs.
