Schemes of Rs 1.745bn approved for AJK
MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir Development Committee has approved development schemes worth Rs. 1.745 billion including projects of Forest, Small Industry Corporation, Health, Hydro Electric Board and Communication. AJK Development Committee allocated Rs. 180 million for the forest sector which will be utilized for the protection of the environment.Some Rs. 219.78 million allocated for Small Industrial Sector to provide soft loans of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 100,000 to trader community of the quake hit areas. Around Rs. 591.463 million has been allocated for the district headquarter hospital project Plundari which would have the capacity of 150 beds.
