34 Indian fishermen released on Independence Day

KARACHI: Government has released 34 Indian fishermen from Karachi Central Jail on account of Pakistan’s Independence Day here on Thursday.Some 34 Indian fishermen aging between 18 to 34 were held under Foreign Act. Government has released them as part of goodwill gesture on occasion of Independence Day. The released Indian fishermen have been sent to Lahore by bus in collaboration with a welfare organization. They will be handed over to Indian authorities on Friday.
