Pak women parliamentarians voice concern over US raids NEW YORK: Members of a Pakistani women parliamentary delegation have conveyed their concern over US strikes inside Pakistan's territory to a number of American lawmakers, whom they met in Washington, and called for putting an end to such incursions, according to their spokespersons.
Speaking at a dinner hosted by Pakistan's U.N. Ambassador Abdullah Hussain Haroon, MNA Azra Paleecho (PPP) said besides the U.S. cross-border raids, they exchanged views with their counterparts on the situation in Afghanistan, the peace process with India, the Kashmir dispute as well as women's empowerment.
