Deepa Mehta's film Luna shelved
MUMBAI: Director Deepa Mehta's much touted eco-drama Luna, starring actors Rachel Weisz and John Abraham, was shelved after differences with Warner Bros over location of the shoot, a Mumbai tabloid reported.
Mehta wanted to shoot outdoor in California while the Warner Bros wanted her to shoot the film, which is about a woman who spends 738 days atop a tree to prevent it from being cut down, in a studio. "I don't work that way" the paper quoted her as saying.
