SINGAPORE: Current week international market crude prices witnessed a mixed trend.In the week ending Friday, Asian Market and New York Mercantile Exchange crude October contracts surged by 31 cents closed at $101.18 per barrel. On the other hand, London Brent North Sea crude October contracts down by 6 cents wrapped up at $97.58 per barrel. In the wake of the hurricane Ike intensifying in the Gulf of Mexico, oil exploration work has totally come to a halt, which has given rise to the fears of crude prices remaining under pressure in the upcoming week.
