SPECIAL REPORTRainwater advancing towards Moen-jo-Daro
LARKANA: Continuous rainfall for three days has inflicted damage to ancient Moen-jo-Daro mounds in Larkana due to negligence of the local administration. The rainwater rapidly advancing towards the Stupa of the ancient town can inflict irreparable damage to the Stupa, the high point of the Moen-jo-Daro.The walls of the ‘D’ area of the old city have been collapsed and efforts were underway to save three walls.Larkana and adjoining areas have received 17 millimeter rainfall in last three days, weather pundits said.
