KSE hits 19-month low on political uncertainty
KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange fell almost 4 percent to a 19-month closing low on Friday, rattled by political uncertainty, including reports of spy agency."There are many reasons but simply confidence has been shattered due to the ongoing political situation and weak macro economic environment," said a dealer.KSE benchmark 100-share index fell 3.89 percent, or 412.19 points, to 10,171.39 points on low turnover of 48.3 million shares. It was the index's lowest close since January 2007.
