Indus, Ravi in low flood; Kabul River in medium

ISLAMABAD: Indus and Ravi Rivers are in low flood, Kabul River in medium, while all other major rivers of the country are flowing normally at their head-works.Flood monitoring center said that Indus at Tarbela, Kalabagh, Chashma, Guddo and Sukkur was in low-level flood, Ravi River at Baloki in low flood, while Kabul River at Nowshehra recorded medium flood. Met. Department said that Kashmir, Punjab, Frontier and northeastern areas of Balochistan are likely to receive rains at some places in the next 24 hours. During the last 24 hours, Islamabad recorded rains at 81mm, Shorkot 55mm, Balakot 41mm, Lahore 37mm, Chilas 35mm, Mangla 27mm, Qalat 21mm, Bhawalpur 15mm and Rawalakot 13mm of rains.
