Gilani arrives in Colombo to attend SAARC summit

COLOMBO: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani arrived here to represent Pakistan at the 15th SAARC summit on Friday. He was received at the airport by his Sri Lankan counterpart Ratnasiri Wickramanayaka.Earlier, the Prime Minister left for Colombo to attend the SAARC summit, with a commitment to make the organization more effective. The Prime Minister said at the airport he will also meet his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh with a view to reinvigorate the ongoing peace process. He was seen off at the airport by the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Tariq Majeed and services chiefs.
