President arrives in Karachi; visits Quaid mausoleum

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari visited Quaid's mausoleum on his 60th death anniversary after he arrived in provincial capital here today (Thursday).It was his first visit to the metropolis after being elected as president of the state.The newly-elected president offered fateha and laid floral wreath on the mausoleum.Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan, Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah, Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar ahmed Kohro and a number of provincial ministers and notables accompanied the president.Earlier, the President Zardari was given a warm welcome when he arrived in Jinnah International Airport from Larkana.
