Pervez Elahi resigns as Opposition Leader

LAHORE: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Chaudhry Pervez Elahi resigned Sunday from his office, reported by bali.

Pervez Elahi faxed his resignation to Speaker National Assembly, Fehmida Mirza, who after accepting it likely to notify the appointment of PML-N leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan as the new Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly.
