Five serial blasts rock New Delhi; 30 killed
NEW DELHI: Five serial blasts in Indian capital here Saturday killed at least 30 people and injured as many as 100 others.According to news reports, the first blast occurred at Ghaffar market of Qarol Bagh area, that left near thirty injured. It was said that the blast was caused when a cylinder fixed in a rickshaw went off.But the blast was followed by four others, occurred in different areas of city including Greater Kalash, Bara Khambha and Connaught Palace.Near 30 casualties have so far been confirmed in the blasts.An Islamic militant group called the Indian Mujahedeen has reportedly claimed responsibility for the series of synchronised blasts.
