Bush greets Zardari on becoming President

ISLAMABAD: United States President George W. Bush has greeted Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on becoming Pakistan's 12th President.In a telephonic conversation, Bush on Tuesday congratulated Asif Ali Zardari saying that he looks forward to working with the Pakistani leadership on the country’s economic development and the fight against terrorism. US President expressed the confidence in the United States and Pakistan having a good way forward and acknowledged Zardari’s firm commitment to fighting terrorism.
