
LAHORE: Lahore Stock market witnessed bearish trend on Wednesday as LSE-25 index lost 128.73 points to settle at 3028.81 points as compared to Tuesday's 3157.54 points. The total turnover also witnessed decreasing trend as it remained 6.478 million shares as compared to the previous volume of 12.475 million shares showing a difference of 5.997 million. Of 86 active scrips traded on Wednesday, 3 moved up, 47 gone down while another 36 equities remained stable. Karachi Electric Supply Company, Dewan Cement Limited and Flying Cement Company Ltd were among the gainers of the day while Pakistan State Oil Company Ltd, Pakistan Oil Fields Ltd, MCB Bank Limited and Engro Chemical Pakistan led the losers side. NIB Bank Limited emerged as volume leader of the day with 1.440 million shares followed by Arif Habib Securities Ltd with 0.580 million and Bank AlFalah Limited with 0.425 million shares.
