Govt committed to strengthen media: FM COLOMBO: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Friday said the elected government in Pakistan is fully committed to strengthening media and allowing free flow of information. Speaking at South Asian Free Media Association (SAFMA) Conference in the Sri Lankan capital, the Foreign Minister said, "In Pakistan, we believe that freedom of press is the cornerstone of democracy and helps form informed public opinion."
